11 to 13 September 2024:
4th Workshop for Quantum Repeaters and Networks (WQRN) in Montreux –
The aim of the Workshop on Quantum Repeaters and Networks (WQRN) is to bring together the active research community to discuss the advances, challenges, and new possible directions for quantum repeaters and networks: key technologies and system integration, protocols for connecting repeaters over network links with high reliability, architectures for large-scale networks, and applications of distributed quantum entanglement.
The WQRN is organized by the working groups “Quantum Information and Communication” of the Departments of Applied Physics at the University of Geneva. It was and is a multi-day workshop with a limited number of participants, where participants have the opportunity to exchange ideas, directions, and concerns in order to advance the state of the field. Presentations typically focus on the applications, theory, components, and global developments in the field of quantum repeaters and networks. These lectures form the framework for group discussions in which everyone can participate. Participants can also contribute to a poster session. Click here for more information on the workshop.
