Quan­tum Effects 2024

The Quan­tum Effects is an inter­na­tio­nal exhi­bi­ti­on and con­fe­rence for appli­ca­ti­on-ori­en­ted Quan­tum Tech­no­lo­gies with glo­bal appeal, which has been held annu­al­ly in Stutt­gart sin­ce 2023. With its glo­bal appeal, the event aims to crea­te net­works and a shared eco­sys­tem at the inter­face of busi­ness, poli­tics, sci­ence, and socie­ty. The event focu­ses on the fol­lo­wing four pil­lars: Com­pu­ting & Enab­ling Tech­no­lo­gies, Soft­ware, Sens­ing, and Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on. This year, SQuaD was also pre­sent with its own booth.

The exhi­bi­ti­on took place on 08 and 09 Octo­ber at the Inter­na­tio­nal Con­gress Cent­re in Stutt­gart and offe­red 85 exhi­bi­tors and around 2,500 par­ti­ci­pan­ts from 27 count­ries a varied and high-qua­li­ty pro­gram­me. The umbrel­la pro­ject was not negle­c­ted eit­her: on the first day of the fair, Dr. Linus Krieg gave an exci­ting pre­sen­ta­ti­on entit­led “Umbrel­la Pro­ject Quan­tum Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on Ger­ma­ny: The Com­mu­ni­ty firm­ly in view”, in which he pro­vi­ded a com­pre­hen­si­ve over­view of the back­ground, objec­ti­ves and acti­vi­ties of the pro­ject.

Loo­king back, Quan­tum Effects was an excel­lent oppor­tu­ni­ty for SQuaD to net­work and exch­an­ge ide­as with decis­i­on-makers, experts, and inte­res­ted par­ties from the inter­na­tio­nal Quan­tum Tech­no­lo­gy sce­ne. The stand, deco­ra­ted with umbrel­las, attrac­ted num­e­rous visi­tors who came to find out more about the pro­ject and the latest deve­lo­p­ments in the field of Quan­tum Com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on. The exhi­bi­ti­on also pro­ved to be a valuable plat­form for recei­ving direct feed­back from the com­mu­ni­ty, incre­asing the visi­bi­li­ty of SQuaD and gai­ning important impe­tus for future work.
